Some history
This kind of weapon was born from the vision IRL of a soldier being able to resupply behind enemy lines and operators being able to leave a smaller footprint to conceal their presence. In this ways the original MK47 carabine has been built on the idea of maintaining the features and ergonomics of the AR-15 but giving the possibility to use a more powerful caliber like 7.62 X 39, which is the standard caliber for the AK47 rifle.
Features and maniability of an AR-15
Like in other products, Double Eagle opted here for a fully reinforced polymer construction. This characteristic offers a lightweight replica but keeps a solid construction. The only metal part is the barrel, the flash hider, and the stock tube. The 10.5 inches handguard licensed by Aeroknox company is equipped with an integrated Picatinny 22mm rail system and an MLOCK system for accessories, a unique serial number in engraved under it. The same 22mm rail system can be found on the upper receiver, in this way you can put some optics on it. All manipulators like bolt catch, release magazine lever, fire selector, and charging handle are ambidextrous. This kind of feature gives maniability and ergonomy for the user of this AEG rifle.
On the collapsible stock, we can find an ambidextrous QD attach point for a tactical sling. The rear of the stock is equipped with a hatch that offers easy access to the installation of the battery.
The lower receiver which uses a standard AK magazine is equipped with special levers which keep the bbs from falling out when you reload the replica.
