Double Eagle M923A DEK762 Black 0,5 Joule AEG

In 2017, the US SOCOM department invited tenders for a Personal Defence Weapon (PDW). Two major weapons manufacturers entered the competition, one from the US and the other from across the Atlantic, namely Germany. In this competition, the German brand won the bid. However, the American manufacturer did not give up and offered its model, the DEK762, on the civilian market.

At first glance, the DEK762 looks like a standard AR-15, but it is not. It is a revolution in terms of sub-compact carbines chambered in 7.62x39 / 300 Blackout. Double Eagle, the manufacturer, has focused on using the best materials to create a manoeuvrable and ergonomic replica. To do this, they have used reinforced nylon polymer for the body of the airsoft rifle and CNC-machined aluminium for the handguard of the replica, resulting in a solid platform weighing around 2.3 kg.

Designed with ergonomics and effectiveness in mind, the DEK762 from Double Eagle offers a modular airsoft replica. On the top of the replica is a 22mm Picatinny rail that allows the mounting of various optics. The 6.5-inch handguard features a Mlock mounting system and is equipped with two QD attachment points for use with [tactical straps]. In addition, the manufacturer supplies a handguard cover and handstop with the DEK762. The ambidextrous selector switch makes operation easy for both right- and left-handed users. The PDW-style stock is adjustable in 4 positions and has a QD point on the front.

The DEK762's gearbox is a V2 with steel gears mounted on 8mm bearings. For better range and accuracy, a rotating hop-up chamber and precision inner barrel are provided.

This AEG also comes standard with a Falcon electronic control system with programmable firing mode (Double Shot in SEMI mode or 1-5 Round Burst in AUTO mode), trigger sensitivity adjustment (3 modes) and motor and battery protection.
