The TP9 Elite Combat Airsoft was developed by Canik in collaboration with industry-leading weapon tuning experts Salient Arms International. The ammunition is BBs in 6mm caliber. The gas blow back weapon is built under license from Canik and is therefore provided with all original markings. The barrel of the softair is licensed by SAI.
This soft air weapon is a Striker-Fired Pistol - a system with a pre-cocked firing pin lock. When the slide is pulled back and let forward, the firing pin remains at the rear and is under spring tension. The trigger releases this tension and allows the shot to be fired. The direct contact between the firing pin and the valve ensures a realistic trigger reaction and fast slide movement.
A hop-up system is located underneath the slide of the air pistol and can be adjusted without any additional tools. It is also possible to mount a red dot on the optic-ready slide, for example. A Picatinny rail is also milled into the underside of the barrel.
The Soft Air has a flat-faced trigger for a more realistic shooting experience. In addition, the charge level indicator can be used to check whether the gas pistol is ready to fire.
