History of the original weapon
Designed by Václav Holek in 1926 and manufactured by the Zbrojovka Brno company, the ZB vz. 26 machine gun was the basis for many later designs.
It was used by the armies of Czechoslovakia, China, Romania, Lithuania and the USSR.
After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Third Reich, it was adopted as the MG-26(t).
Its design was so successful that it served as the basis for the legendary British Bren,
and also influenced the development of the Japanese Type 96 and the Spanish FAO.

Full metal construction
The replica of the ZB26 light machine gun is made of metal and wood to faithfully reproduce the original model.
Key components such as the reciver, the barrel, the muzzle compensator, the bipod, the sling mount, the gas block imitation,
the gas tube imitation and the sights are made of metal to ensure a realistic weight and a long service life.
Wooden elements, including the stock, pistol grip and carrying handle, ensure authenticity and robustness.
Hop-up system and battery compartment
The hop-up adjustment is located inside the housing, at the “ejection port”.
The battery compartment is located inside the stock - access is gained by removing the rear cover of the stock.
The hinged shoulder rest is only used to remove the butt plate.
